"I just invent, then wait until man comes around to needing what I've invented." - from Time magazine

RBF Dome NFP needs your support to allow us to effectuate our many activities and projects. One reason we need your support is that we are a publicly-funded 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. The IRS dictates that we must generate a majority of our resources from public sources (i.e. donations from people like you).

We need resources to maintain our day to day activities of producing fundraisers, giving tours or presentations to community groups, paying phone and electric bills, and paying insurance and property taxes (yes, we still pay property taxes, at least until we get the dome preservation completed). The money we take in from gift shop sales helps fund daily activities.

We are presently working on the fence. While this effort is being done with volunteer labor, the materials are not free. We need resources to buy paint, nails, tools, and recycled redwood to replace the rotted or damaged fencing slats.

The Preservation Plan developed by White & Borgognoni Architects, P.C. put the cost estimate for preserving the Fuller Dome Home near $350,000. We need a structured plan for securing the resources to begin the preservation effort. Once the project gets set in motion, it must proceed in a timely fashion towards completion. Which means we will have to have most of the funds secured before we can begin major preservation efforts.

RBF Dome NFP has no paid staff members; volunteers do all that gets done.

The value of your donation to RBF Dome NFP is tax deductible. If you purchase a product or receive a gift, the wholesale value of the item is subtracted from the total amount of your donation to determine the donation value.
